YOUR TASKS
Development of composite components for rocket structures and composite pressure vessels, including the assessment of technical feasibility with regard to functional, cost, weight and installation requirements
Selection, development, design and qualification of composite materials and manufacturing processes for the production of components
Technical support for manufacturing processes, including the preparation and revision of manufacturing documentation and the assessment of manufacturing deviations, in coordination with the relevant specialist departments
Preparation of design drawings and documents, such as work instructions, manuals and system descriptions, for manufacturing, qualification and testing
Technical coordination with external partners, subcontractors, customers and internal departments regarding technical requirements, solutions and their evaluation
Participation in the definition of new developments, modifications and configuration management
Job requirements
YOUR PROFILE
Completed technical education, such as HTL, university of applied sciences or university degree, in aerospace engineering or a comparable field, e.g. mechanical engineering or lightweight construction
Interest in lightweight structures and composite materials
Good knowledge of design engineering tools, preferably CATIA V5
Analytical mindset, high degree of flexibility and resilience
Excellent written and spoken German and English
Very good knowledge of MS Office
Independent and structured approach to work
Ability to work effectively in a team
